About The Position
The Nursing Coordinator is responsible for delivering coordinated nursing care for patients or designated groups of patients based on established standards of care and the nursing process. This role involves supervising and directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and collaborating with other disciplines to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements
- Current nursing license and relevant certifications.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with medical teams and patients.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a nursing leadership or coordination role preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards.
- Supervise and direct nursing staff at various levels, ensuring adherence to protocols and standards.
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive patient management.
- Utilize critical thinking and professional discretion in decision-making processes regarding patient care.
- Exercise independent judgment while reporting on patient care and staff performance.
