About The Position
This is a benefited, full-time position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Located in La Jolla at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines. You are required to float to other sites as needed, but the majority of time will be in Torrey Pines. Requirements
- ADN or Nursing Diploma
- CA RN license
- American Heart Association BLS
Nice To Haves
- BSN
- 1+ years of experience as RN in acute care/hospital setting
- Outpatient RN experience
- Epic experience
- Surgical experience
Responsibilities
- Conduct significant telephone/patient portal interaction (80%25) coordinating care with patients and collaborating with providers and their care teams.
- Educate patients, manage associated paperwork, order entry, prior authorizations, medication refills, assist in procedures and occasional wound care.
- Use minimal hands-on nursing skills.
- Collaborate with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
