About The Position

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Wichita, KS. The unit has 28 beds and a patient ratio of 1:1. The typical equipment used includes DaVinci Robotics (SI, XI, Mako) and the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system is Meditech / CPN. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of current acute care OR RN hospital experience and possess BLS & ACLS certification. Experience with DaVinci Robotics and a background in orthopedic, neurology, and vascular procedures, as well as prior experience with Meditech, are preferred. Typical procedures performed include Orthopedics, Gynecology, General Surgery, Urology, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Plastic Surgery, Dental, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Spinal Surgery, Neurosurgery, Trauma Surgery, TAVR, MAKO Procedures, and DaVinci Surgical Procedures. Ideal candidates will showcase strong patient care experience and excellent communication skills with staff and providers. Work schedules may require one late night per week and one working Saturday every four weeks, along with one on-call shift per month on either Saturday or Sunday with a 30-minute response time. Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year current acute care OR RN hospital experience
• BLS & ACLS certification

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Operating Room.
• Operate and assist with DaVinci Robotics (SI, XI, Mako).
• Utilize Meditech / CPN EMR system.
• Perform and assist with a variety of surgical procedures including Orthopedics, Gynecology, General Surgery, Urology, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Plastic Surgery, Dental, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Spinal Surgery, Neurosurgery, Trauma Surgery, TAVR, MAKO Procedures, and DaVinci Surgical Procedures.
• Communicate effectively with staff and providers.
• Participate in on-call shifts.
• Respond to on-call situations within 30 minutes.
