About The Position

The Hyperbaric Technician is responsible for providing hyperbaric treatments in accordance with specific physician's orders, department policies and procedures. This is a Per Diem position with rotating shifts.

Requirements

  • Graduate of Allied Health Program
  • 0-2 years experience
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist (Florida) or Paramedic (Florida)
  • BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN)
  • ACLS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN)

Responsibilities

  • Performs hyperbaric treatment for wound patients
  • Perform hyperbaric treatments for emergency paitents
  • Performs TCM oxygen measurements
  • Maintains patient medical record
  • Maintains chamber area & equipment
