About The Position
Under general supervision in the Coffin Lab, provides a wide variety of moderately complex laboratory testing and technical lab support for a research facility. Requires knowledge of the processes/procedures in testing, documenting experiments, maintaining laboratory notebook, analyzing data, and reporting using complex statistical computer software.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field of Science required
- 2+ year's of research lab experience.
- Experience with cell and molecular techniques including PCR, immunostaining, confocal microscopy.
- Understanding of research methods, laboratory techniques, and care of laboratory equipment;
- Ability to interpret data, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel; PowerPoint and Outlook
- Must be detail oriented and have analytical skills
- Strong work ethic, excellent written and communication skills, and the ability to work independently
