About The Position

Creative Management Technology, Inc. is seeking a full-time Floor Technician for the NASA Glenn Research Center. This position involves operating various floor care equipment, performing maintenance, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. The role requires adherence to all safety regulations and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This is a full-time position with occasional overtime available.

Requirements

Must be able to comply with and pass a federal background check as required by the contract
Submit and pass a pre-employment drug screen
Have a valid driver's license
Personal vehicle with current insurance coverage
Must be able to physically move through the worksite
Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
Must be able to stand for long periods as well as stoop, squat, lift, carry, and push
Must wear protective equipment, such as latex gloves and safety glasses, according to OSHA regulations.
Ability to work independently
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions

Responsibilities

Operates various types of equipment used for floor care maintenance, such as automatic scrubbers, floor machines, and wet/dry vacuums
Performs preventative maintenance checks on all equipment prior to use
Provides floor care, including buffing and burnishing on hard surfaces
Provides floor maintenance, including but not limited to stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, bonneting and extracting carpets
Move furniture and other heavy objects
Comply with all safety requirements and procedures at all times
Perform other cleaning duties as specified by management
