About The Position
The Quality Auditor is responsible for performing various quality control tasks, including part destruct testing, SPC readings, assisting with non-conforming parts, layered process audits, and inspections of staged, incoming, and steel products. This role requires knowledge of quality systems and the ability to use basic hand tools and computer systems.
Requirements
- Knowledge of quality systems
- Computer skills
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds repetitively during shift
- Able to use basic hand tools
- Able to multi-task and work independently
Nice To Haves
- Previous use of quality tools such as CMM, calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Previous experience with blueprint reading
Responsibilities
- Perform part destruct testing
- Perform SPC readings on check fixtures
- Assist in the collection and identification of non-conforming parts
- Perform layered process audits
- Perform inspection of parts staged for shipment
- Perform inspection of incoming purchased product and record data
- Perform inspection of received steel
