About The Position
Outlaw Group is seeking a South Carolina-licensed psychologist or other qualified mental health professional interested in conducting pre-employment psychological evaluations for law enforcement agencies. The work would be performed on a flexible, per-candidate basis. This could be an ideal opportunity for a retired or semi-retired psychologist who maintains an active license and would like a limited, part-time caseload. Extensive law enforcement experience is not required.
Requirements
- South Carolina-licensed psychologist or other qualified mental health professional
- Active license
- Qualified to administer and interpret clinical psychological assessments
- Willing to become familiar with South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy requirements for law enforcement evaluations
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality, records, and professional liability coverage
Nice To Haves
- Extensive law enforcement experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Administer and interpret clinical psychological assessments.

- Conduct the required candidate interview and appropriate psychological testing.
- Provide the agency with a clear written suitability determination.
