About The Position
Exp Federal is an established Design Build firm that provides a full range of exceptional design and construction solutions to the federal government. Our team of professionals operates in some of the most challenging environments to provide support services to a variety of governmental agencies globally. We are seeking a talented Construction Manager to add to our construction team in Tennessee. Exp Federal’s Construction Managers coordinate, schedule, and supervise construction projects from development to completion.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years construction experience
- Understands all facets of the construction process
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
Nice To Haves
- QCM Trained
- OSHA 30 Hour trained
- Trade License (Electrician, Plumber, etc.)
- Proven work experience in US Government construction management
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
- Oversee all onsite and offsite work to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Coordinate construction projects, including scheduling meetings and reviewing project documents as needed.
- Develop and implement QC plans, safety plans, and schedules.
- Apply the principles of UFGS 01 45 00.00 (Quality Control) and EM 385-1-1 Safety & Health Requirements.
- Develop dig permits, outage plans, etc. as needed to schedule the work with the end users.
