About The Position

The Construction Project Manager plays a critical role with Landmark Builders. As the Project Manager you will plan and oversee residential custom home builds, residential remodels and light commercial projects. The Construction Project Manager must be highly organized, have a high attention to detail, and the ability to plan and multitask. The Project Manager must meet key metrics for each project in order to meet deadlines and keep project budgets on track.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a residential Project Manager -- custom home or high-end residential strongly preferred
  • Current CA driver's license
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, attention to detail
  • Team Player who listens, learns, and actively communicates
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Enjoys a flexible and independent work environment where day-to-day work is more self-directed, ability to take the initiative and be a self-starter
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, word, excel, etc.)
  • Must be capable of mastering the basic functions of Buildertrend software with appropriate training, within a reasonable time after hire.
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive experience for our clients throughout the building process.
  • Ensure that the quality of work performed by our trade partners meets and exceeds the Landmark standards
  • Proactively manage project budgets and schedules to finish on track and on time.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects, interior designers and key members of the project team.
  • Utilize Buildertrend, our project management software, for all aspects of the project: budget, change orders, daily logs, photos, schedule, bids, project files, etc...
  • Participate in preplanning and estimating projects
  • Coordinate with appropriate resources regarding permits and licenses from authorities for the construction site
  • Manage and schedule all required inspections
  • Manage subcontractor pricing and client change orders
  • Determine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed
  • Keep track of inventory, tools and equipment
  • Delegate responsibilities when appropriate
  • Keep all stakeholders aware of the progress on projects.
  • Evaluate progress and prepare reports for weekly meetings as needed
  • Handle any community, neighbor or environmental issues that may come up during a project
  • Manage the Interior Designer's specifications related to the job
  • Responsible for Warranty work after completion of job
