Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Responsibilities

• Performing basic engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks as assigned
• Understanding and supporting the capital and non-capital project delivery process
• Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals, mill safety, reliability, and improvement efforts
• Collaborating with more experienced engineers to provide follow-up and engineering assistance on defined problems
• Preparing or assisting in preparing reports, graphs, planning layouts, and summaries
• Performing non-complex and routine assignments while developing engineering fundamentals
• Executing work in a manner consistent with safety procedures and practices with some guidance
• Utilizing basic communication tools such as memos, email, and verbal to update others on progress of assignments when prompted
• Developing relationships with teams and process areas as needed with each assignment
• Interacting with other mill departments such as Operations, Maintenance, Purchasing, etc. to achieve assignment objectives
