About The Position
We have an exciting Supply Associate opportunity in our processing facility. In this highly impactful role, you will be responsible for issuing, storing, and maintaining an inventory of personal protective equipment (PPE) and supplies for a pork harvest facility serving over 2500 employees. Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, English required.
Nice To Haves
- Some college or vocational courses preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, advance Excel skills or similar application and MRP system experience preferred.
- bi-lingual a plus.
Responsibilities
- Receives, stores and issues mechanical parts/PPE/supplies according to operational needs
- Assists with monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of supplies
- Ability to interact and maintain positive rapport with a diverse workforce
- Performs data entry, clerical tasks and administrative paperwork to ensure department maintains a high level of accountability for inventory
- Inspects, checks and verifies incoming supplies are in good condition and meet quality specifications
- Communicates effectively and collaborates with department leadership to ensure the position provides a high level of customer service
- Adheres to all Company food and workplace safety policies to safeguard the workplace and well-being of all employees
