About The Position

Ensures video content delivered to the Remote Operations Center (ROC) is properly formatted, configured, and optimized for the district’s display systems, including LED walls, large-format displays, and other digital surfaces with varying resolutions, pixel maps, and aspect ratios. This role prepares, conforms, and finishes content to ensure accurate and reliable playback across all applicable display environments. The position also creates, produces, and edits content as needed, serving as a technical bridge between creative content development and the systems responsible for displaying that content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Film, Media Production, Digital Media, Broadcasting, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of professional experience in video production, editing, digital content creation, or a related field
  • Experience producing content for large digital platforms, live entertainment, sports, in-venue environments, or similar channels preferred
  • Experience working collaboratively with product, technology, digital, or cross-functional teams preferred
  • Demonstrated experience independently managing video or digital content projects from concept through final delivery
  • Strong understanding of video production workflows, including pre-production, production, and post-production
  • Strong video production, editing, and visual storytelling skills
  • Advanced knowledge of professional video editing and post-production tools
  • Familiarity with digital asset management, content management systems, media workflows, or related production technologies preferred
  • Strong creative judgment and attention to detail
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and product teams and translate business or platform requirements into creative content solutions
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to translate organizational objectives into engaging visual and digital content
  • Ability to provide creative direction and guidance while working collaboratively within a team environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and events as needed

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all delivered video content is compatible with and properly formatted for target displays, including resolution, pixel mapping, aspect ratio, color, and format requirements
  • Prepare, conform, transcode, and finish content for reliable playback across ROC display and playback systems
  • Partner with OCVIBE Marketing, Anaheim Ducks Production, and other internal teams to create, produce, and edit content as needed, executing established creative direction
  • Perform quality control on content to ensure technical quality, format compliance, and accurate rendering prior to deployment
  • Manage the content edit and preparation pipeline, including ingest, organization, editing/conforming, revisions, and final delivery in alignment with event and content calendars
  • Partner with the Data Management Specialist on media asset ingest, organization, storage, and archiving
  • Coordinate with the Media Systems & Show Control Manager on display specifications and content-to-system handoff, and with the Operations & Scheduling Manager on delivery timing
  • Stay current on evolving trends in content production, editing, digital media, platforms, and production technology
  • Perform other duties as assigned
