Video Producer & Editor

Level99 Entertainment•Greater Boston, MA

About The Position

Level99 is seeking a creative, hands-on Video Producer & Editor to bring the brand to life through video. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this person will create content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, paid advertising, venue launches, brand campaigns, public relations, recruiting, and internal communications. The role owns the production process from developing an idea and planning a shoot through filming, editing, and delivering finished content. Approximately 80% of video content is expected to be produced in-house; larger productions may involve external creative partners. The successful candidate will be comfortable producing both polished brand work and fast, platform-native content. They will help shape the video voice of a rapidly growing entertainment brand and bring speed, versatility, creative instincts, and attention to detail to a variety of projects.

Requirements

  • Approximately 3–5 years of professional video production and editing experience.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating both shooting and editing capabilities.
  • Experience producing content for brands, agencies, media companies, entertainment businesses, or digital platforms.
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling and experience with both short-form social content and longer-form video.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or comparable editing software.
  • Working knowledge of cameras, lighting, audio, and basic production equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work quickly and independently without sacrificing quality, with strong creative instincts and attention to detail.
  • Comfort receiving feedback, rapidly iterating, and collaborating closely with a fast-moving marketing team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Adobe After Effects, 2D motion graphics, or animation.
  • Graphic design skills and/or photography capabilities.
  • Experience producing YouTube content or recurring video series.
  • Experience creating paid social advertising and iterating creative based on performance.
  • Experience working with outside production companies or freelancers.
  • Interest in entertainment, gaming, hospitality, sports, or experiential brands.

Responsibilities

  • Develop video concepts for YouTube, social media, paid advertising, brand marketing, public relations, recruiting, internal communications, venue openings, and other channels.
  • Turn briefs and rough ideas into scripts, storyboards, shot lists, production plans, and finished videos.
  • Shoot high-quality video at venues, events, offices, interviews, and other locations, finding the story within each project rather than simply documenting it.
  • Create and edit long- and short-form content, including YouTube videos and recurring series, TikToks, Reels, Shorts, paid ads, campaigns, venue-opening content, interviews, and communications content.
  • Adapt footage into multiple formats, lengths, hooks, cutdowns, and platform-specific edits.
  • Independently operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment, and direct employees, guests, creators, executives, and other on-camera talent.
  • Edit with attention to pacing, storytelling, music, sound, and visual style, including basic color correction, audio cleanup, graphics, captions, and finishing.
  • Maintain organized footage, project files, and asset libraries, and create repeatable templates and workflows to increase production efficiency.
  • Propose video concepts and recurring series and help evolve Level99's visual and storytelling style.
  • Stay current on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, advertising creative, entertainment content, and emerging formats, selecting polished or platform-native approaches as appropriate.
  • Partner with Marketing teammates on paid creative, including multiple hooks, edits, cutdowns, and testing variations.
  • Use creative performance data to inform future videos and concepts.
  • Help develop concepts and production plans for approximately one to two larger brand campaigns per year, coordinating production companies, freelancers, photographers, animators, and other partners from pre-production through final delivery.
  • Work with external partners on filming new venues.
