About The Position
Under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Technician will be utilized in supervised patient treatments and in maintaining the PT department in a clean and orderly manner. OakBend Medical Center is an independent hospital providing exceptional and compassionate care to patients and the community since 1950. The OakBend family consists of outstanding team members caring for the community at three hospitals and many specialty centers. OakBend’s services and programs include its signature No Wait ER, an advanced trauma center, certified stroke program, hospital air ambulance services and a hospital-based skilled nursing facility. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered.
- Basic Life Support certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited certification program.
- Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care.
- Successful completion department specific and/or hospital required training courses.
- Must be able to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric.
Nice To Haves
- Graduation from a technical program preferred.
- Previous experience in Physical Therapy clinic preferred.
