About The Position
Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Munster, IN. This position is responsible for performing a variety of laboratory procedures, including collecting specimens from patients. The role involves direct patient contact and requires excellent customer service skills. The Phlebotomist II will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment and adhering to all laboratory policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of a phlebotomy training program.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience in phlebotomy.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree in a related field.
- Certification as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT).
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Responsibilities
- Collect specimens from patients using appropriate techniques.
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all laboratory policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
