About The Position
This opportunity is for a Phlebotomist in Memphis, TN. The role involves providing exceptional patient care and customer-focused service, performing venipuncture on patients of all ages, and collecting/preparing non-blood specimens. The position also requires ensuring proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering, while championing safety, compliance, and quality control. This is a part-time role and is not benefits eligible. The company emphasizes advancing the health and wellbeing of communities through clinical laboratory solutions and values quality.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous phlebotomy training or experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and data entry skills
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
- Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.
