About The Position
Performs venipunctures, arterial punctures, and capillary sampling to obtain blood samples for laboratory testing. Enters orders for testing and accessions specimens in the computer system. Supports the general operation of the Laboratory. Documents collection and processes specimens efficiently. Performs phlebotomy collections in a timely manner.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 0 - 6 month(s) related experience inclusive of on the job or classroom training in phlebotomy.
- Basic PC Skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to draw blood specimens.
