About The Position
Apotheco Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Technician who is passionate about patient care. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and processing prescriptions, managing inventory, coordinating deliveries, and handling insurance verification and billing. The ideal candidate will have an excellent phone presence and maintain patient information accurately. Apotheco Pharmacy emphasizes work-life balance, offering evenings and weekends off, PTO, and floating holidays.
Requirements
- High School Graduate (or equivalent) is required.
- Must have an excellent phone presence, including being friendly, professional, and well-spoken.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in pharmacy or other related Healthcare fields preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service!
- Label and prepare products for patients.
- Process prescriptions using computer software.
- Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies.
- Coordinate patient deliveries.
- Keep the pharmacy clean and organized.
- Complete insurance verification.
- Apply manufacturer coupons if applicable.
- Bill and charge credit cards.
- Keep patient information up to date.
