About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience in the State of Florida
• Prior experience handling personal injury and/or medical malpractice litigation matters
• Strong paralegal, legal secretarial, and administrative background
• Strong understanding of Florida litigation procedures, deadlines, and court requirements
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter who can take initiative and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Manage active litigation files and support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation
• Draft pleadings, correspondence, discovery, and other litigation-related documents
• Manage a busy senior partner’s legal and social calendar with exceptional organization and time management skills
