About The Position
Since 1939, Scott has been family owned and proud to represent the world’s finest manufacturers of construction equipment and cranes. Today, our team of nearly 400 employees sell, rents and provides top notch service and parts at 16 locations in 5 states. The Parts Manager is responsible for supervising the parts department in attaining sales and profit goals. This individual must manage parts inventory, implement sales growth plans, fulfill customer purchase requirements, and provide sales support to other departments within the branch.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Previous parts sales and inventory management experience
- Ability to obtain and prepare parts quotes
- Previous experience with P&L, budgeting and forecasting
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Supervising the parts department in attaining sales and profit goals
- Manage parts inventory
- Implement sales growth plans
- Fulfill customer purchase requirements
- Provide sales support to other departments within the branch
