The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is a fast-paced perioperative environment specializing in ASPAN-standard recovery care for both adult and pediatric populations. This unit partners closely with anesthesia providers to optimize each patient’s post-operative condition and ensure safe, efficient recovery. PACU nurses manage a diverse patient population with varying levels of acuity, requiring strong critical thinking, adaptability, and clinical expertise. Candidates with prior experience in Emergency Department (ED), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), or PACU settings are highly preferred.
