About The Position
Lakes Region Community Services is expanding its Family Centered Early Supports and Services team and is recruiting for Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP), Physical Therapist (PT), and Occupational Therapist (OT) positions. These are full-time, 30-hour per week roles focused on early intervention services. Responsibilities include assessing a child's developmental level and eligibility for services as part of a trans-disciplinary team, and developing and implementing an Individualized Family Service Plan in collaboration with families and other professionals. The ideal candidates will have experience with young children and their families in a community setting, embrace family-centered approaches, thrive in a team environment, and be flexible with scheduling.
Requirements
- SLP: A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a valid New Hampshire license to practice Speech-Language Pathology through the NH Office of Professional Licensure and Certification.
- PT: A minimum of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and a license from the NH Office of Professional Licensure and Certification.
- OT: A minimum of Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, certification by the National Board of Certification for Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), and current licensure from the NH Board of Licensed Allied Health Professionals.
- A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and automobile insurance are required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with and knowledge of Early Supports and Services is preferred.
- 1-2 years of professional experience and working with young children and families is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess as part of a trans-disciplinary team to determine current development level and eligibility for Early Intervention services.
- Develop and implement an Individualized Family Service Plan with family and other appropriate individuals.
