Avionics Technician

About The Position
This role is responsible for testing, troubleshooting and component level repair and modification of general aviation Avionics, Instruments and Accessories.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in electronic repair.
- Familiarity with Avionics equipment and systems.
- Hands on experience in the use of electronic test equipment, hand and soldering tools and other measuring and recording devices.
- Advanced knowledge of Analog and Digital Theory.
- Basic knowledge of computers and software.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal and writing communication skills to accurately document, report and assess situations and make judgments.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic circuits to component level.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics and technical orders.
- Analyze malfunctions using electronic test equipment, schematics and technical publications.
- Build test equipment utilizing approved design data and/or manufacturers drawings.
- Complete all required paperwork related to repairs performed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area on a daily basis.
