About The Position
The Staff Pad is partnering with a pediatric ambulatory surgery center organization to recruit a PRN Oral Surgeon for its affiliated professional care team in Nashville, Tennessee. The organization provides restorative and exodontia dental procedures for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia. The role is based in a collaborative, fast-paced ASC environment focused on patient care. The typical operating-room day involves treating approximately seven pediatric patients. The schedule is PRN, with no call, weekends, or holidays.
Requirements
- Licensed Oral Surgeon with appropriate state licensure.
- Experience working with pediatric patients.
- Current BLS certification.
- Obtain AHA or equivalent PALS certification within six months of hire.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Communicate professionally and effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical setting.
Nice To Haves
- National Board certification is strongly preferred.
- Ability to practice across various anesthesia staffing models, including Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models, is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide oral surgical care in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center environment.
- Work with the surgical team to support a safe and positive patient experience.
- Treat approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical operating-room day.
- Coordinate care with dentists, anesthesiologists, registered nurses, registered dental assistants, and other surgical team members.
