About The Position

DuraServ is seeking an analyst who can transform complex fleet and safety data into actionable decisions that enhance safety and improve performance. This is an impact-focused role where the analyst will connect telematics anomalies to potential safety incidents, identify trends in maintenance logs for operational improvements, and translate raw data into decisions that protect employees. The company operates a national fleet of service vehicles across the U.S. and Canada.

Requirements

  • Fluent in SQL, Excel, and at least one data visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Ability to interrogate data and understand the difference between correlation and conclusion.
  • Clear communication of findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Intellectual curiosity about logistics and data analysis.
  • 0-2 years in a data analytics role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Transportation, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Azure experience is a plus.
  • Experience in fleet, logistics, or transportation is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and manage large datasets from fleet management systems, telematics platforms, and safety reporting tools.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting platforms.
  • Automate recurring reports and streamline data workflows.
  • Analyze incidents, near-misses, maintenance logs, and driver behavior data to identify trends, anomalies, and risk factors.
  • Support root cause analysis and safety incident investigations with relevant data and trend reporting.
  • Monitor fleet reliability and safety performance against internal benchmarks and regulatory standards.
  • Develop actionable recommendations to reduce risk, improve driver safety, and enhance overall fleet performance.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI, SQL, and Excel to communicate KPIs and safety metrics.
  • Collaborate with Fleet/Operations, Safety, and Compliance teams to define data requirements and deliver insights.
  • Participate in cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives.
