About The Position

Requirements

• Master's Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing (required).
• APRN National Specialty Certification - Board Certified NNP (required).
• 2+ years of current experience as NNP (not including RN experience) (required).
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) (required).
• DEA (must be obtained prior to start) (required).
• North Carolina license (or willingness to obtain) (required).
• DEA registration (required before start).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care in a Level III NICU.
• Collaborate closely with neonatologists and a team of NNPs.
• Assist in the management of approximately 320 admissions and 1,900 births annually.
• Deliver care in both the NICU and newborn nursery settings.
• Participate in supportive scheduling with 20 hours of coverage per day.
