About The Position

Requirements

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BSN required.
• Two years of relatable experience.

Nice To Haves

• MSN preferred.
• Pediatric Nursing Certification (CPN) or other relevant specialty certification.
• Certification in the appropriate specialized field within 2 years of being in the position required.
• BLS.
• Additional education in genetics, pediatric specialty nursing, care coordination, or patient navigation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the patient's care to increase the efficiency and quality of care that is delivered to the patient.
• Start with the time of the patient's diagnosis and will continue through the patient's journey throughout their care.
• Serve as the patient advocate and care for them in a highly supportive and personal manner.
• Serve as a liaison to ensure that patients and families receive resources and services as needed.
