About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join their group in Crown Point, IN. The provider will work with a collaborative team of nurse midwives and physicians, focusing on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in midwifery, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. The provider will collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality patient care, following the Ethical and Religious Directives for all health care services.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree
  • 5 years Staff RN in Labor and Delivery
  • Nurse Midwife (NMW)
  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years Clinical physician office

Responsibilities

  • Flexible full-time schedule
  • Time will be split between clinic and hospital
  • Daily rounding on post-delivery patients
  • Antepartum and Postpartum care
  • Pap smears
  • Breast exams
  • Annual Wellness Exams
  • Deliveries
