About The Position
Seeking a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) to join a collaborative OB/GYN practice of MDs, CNMs & APPs in the Phoenix metro area. The practice is located within a teaching hospital and serves a predominantly underserved, culturally-diverse population. This full-time position involves working in both clinic and hospital settings. The role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of a vulnerable population by providing holistic and culturally-grounded services in a professional, culturally, and linguistically-appropriate manner, aiming to reduce health disparities and cultural barriers to care.

Responsibilities
- Providing Prenatal Care for routine and high risk women
- Triaging pregnant patients presenting to the hospital for a variety of complaints (16-40+ weeks)
- Interpreting Antepartum Testing results and making management decisions regarding care of high risk women (in consultation with MFM)
- Educating and Managing women with Diabetes in pregnancy
- Rounding on low risk Postpartum patients
- Working as part of an Integrated Team of physicians and midwives in a high risk medical-model setting
- Supervising and Educating Residents
- Providing Preventive Health Services
- Counseling patients on all contraceptive options
- Inserting IUDs and Contraceptive Implants
