About The Position
Adena Fairfield Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join a growing Ob/Gyn clinic in Lancaster, Ohio. The role primarily involves conducting gynecology visits in an outpatient clinic and offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, and positive atmosphere. The ideal candidate is independent while comfortable collaborating with physicians, and is kind, a team player, interested in learning, and coachable. This is a full-time employed position within the multi-specialty Adena Medical Group. The clinic's office hours are 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with no call. The practice includes three physicians (two MDs and one DO), one nurse practitioner/midwife, and seven staff members (two PARs, five MAs, and one RN). Responsibilities
- Provide Ob/Gyn and women’s health care, including annual exams.
- Provide contraceptive counseling and insertion, including IUD insertion and removal.
- Discuss birth control options, including Nexplanon.
