About The Position

This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work on-site within the dynamic field of Ob/Gyn, providing essential care to expectant mothers and their families. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care, while collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Your contributions will play a vital role in supporting women’s health and fostering positive childbirth experiences in our community.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing, with a focus on Midwifery
• Current CNM certification and licensure
• Must be board-certified
• BLS & DEA required
• Experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care
• Flexible availability for on-site responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive prenatal, labor, and postpartum care to patients
• Conduct physical examinations and health assessments
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients on health maintenance and wellness
• Manage labor and delivery for low-risk pregnancies
• Support and advocate for patients throughout their childbirth journey
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely
• Triage, manage, deliver, and discharge patients
• Perform after-hours secondary phone triage
• Surgical first-assist for all C-sections
