About The Position

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT support or systems/network administration experience.
• Strong real-world experience with: Networking and routing, Firewalls and network security, Managed switches, VMware virtualization, Microsoft Azure.
• Experience supporting IP/Cloud phone systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

• Industry certifications such as: CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP, Microsoft Azure certifications.
• Experience in K-12, higher education, or government environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex IT infrastructure and networking issues.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot: Firewalls, Managed switches, Routers, Wireless networking equipment.
• Support and administer VMware virtual environments and Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance, security, and system availability.
• Assist with server administration, backups, disaster recovery, and system upgrades.
• Support and troubleshoot IP and cloud-based phone systems.
• Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve escalated technical issues.
• Maintain documentation for network configurations, procedures, and systems.
• Participate in project planning, deployments, migrations, and infrastructure improvements.
