About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of network operations experience; higher-level education or relevant military service may be substituted for the required experience.
• Demonstrated experience in telecommunications network design and management.
• Experience in the analysis and design of voice networks, LAN and WAN data networks, wireless networks, and network management systems supporting integrated voice and data services.
• Experience performing or supporting the development, engineering, integration, interfacing, and testing of complex hardware and software systems.
• A minimum of two (2) certifications, one from each of the following lists: IA Level (IAT-II: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH) and CCSE NGX, CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, SCNA, CCSE NGX Plus NG with AI, CCMSE NG with AI, CSMSE NG with AI Plus VSX, NSA, ESE.
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in both wired and wireless WAN engineering, supporting current operations as well as emerging technologies.
• Maintain the integrity of network system baselines throughout the lifecycle by managing and implementing updates across development, deployment, operations, and maintenance activities.
