Requirements

• must have high school diploma or equivalent
• must have a valid drivers license and maintain a clean driving record
• Ability to obtain a Class C driver endorsement
• Strong customer orientation with excellent interpersonal communication skills is a plus
• Attention to detail
• Ability to effectively use power and hand tools
• Must be able to ride and/or operate a motor vehicle on a daily basis for extended periods of time; and climb in and out of vehicle.
• Frequently operate power and hand tools.
• Continuously sit, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, climb (on and off the truck; stairs), lift and carry at least 100 pounds, push, pull and grip.
• Occasionally may lift above shoulder level.

Responsibilities

• navigate driver to the location including getting out of the truck at the location to assist driver in maneuvering around power lines, driveways, trees, etc.
• Telephone customers and notify them of expected arrival time.
• Maintain 5S's Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain in dock areas including exterior truck wells.
• Accurately load and unload documents/merchandise on and off the truck. Ensure documents/merchandise are secure, safe and free from damage.
• Place and assemble merchandise at customer location as required.
• Assist driver with notifying the office of PO/PB results. Notify dock supervisor of merchandise rejected by the customer.
• Assist Daily with paperwork as needed.
• Occasionally fill in as driver ( if properly licensed) when driver is absent.
• Adherence to the Company's appearance guidelines.
