About The Position
Washington Regional's Trauma Surgery is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Advanced Practice Provider or Physician Assistant, to join our team. This is a hospital-based nocturnist position.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner with Acute Care certification or Physician Assistant program.
- Arkansas Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License and CPR, required.
- National certification, required
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in trauma surgery or critical care setting, preferred.
- EPIC EMR experience, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Surgical consultations and responding to ED for trauma alerts.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Assist in diagnosing and managing medical and surgical conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications and treatments.
- Ensure accurate documentation and complete discharge summaries.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
