Requirements

Responsibilities

• Administering Immunotherapy: Preparing and giving allergy injections according to established protocols and physician's orders.
• Patient Monitoring: Observing patients during and after injections for any adverse reactions and providing appropriate care or escalation.
• Patient Education: Informing patients about the importance of following their immunotherapy schedule, potential side effects, and self-care measures.
• Patient Intake and Assessment: Obtaining vital signs, conducting medication reviews, and assisting patients with preparing for provider visits.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient treatments and progress.
• Vial Management: Managing immunotherapy vials, ensuring proper storage and handling.
• Triage and Support: Assisting with triage of allergy-related calls and providing support to patients and other clinic staff.
• Safety and Infection Control: Adhering to all infection control and safety protocols.
