Las Vegas Urology, a well-respected and growing practice, is currently seeking a Medical Assistant who is patient-focused, dependable, and thrives in a team-based environment. Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Familiarity with clinical and clerical functions in a medical setting

Nice To Haves

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

Rooming patients and preparing them for exams
Assisting with in-office procedures and setting up instruments
Managing control logs and ensuring compliance documentation
Performing wound checks, suture/staple removal, and educating patients on wound care
Specimen collection and handling (venipuncture, urinalysis, prostate tissue)
Administering injections (Lupron, Depo-Provera, Testosterone, Collagen testing)
Catheter insertions/removals, voiding trials, bladder instillations, and teaching self-catheterization
Conducting impotence testing (Doppler, Biothesiometry)
Reviewing lab results and communicating with patients
Preparing charts and handling patient calls
Performing general clerical duties (scanning, faxing, emails, record keeping)
