About The Position

Requirements

• Graduate of a school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants OR Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program OR Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces OR Minimum one year of work experience in a role similar to a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Within 30 days of hire)

Nice To Haves

• National Medical Assistant Certification (Upon hire)
• 6 months Experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• 6 months Experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR).

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as directed to assist in providing basic patient care to assigned patients.
• Meet basic patient care needs through both administrative and clinical duties.
• Perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
