Material Handler II (3rd Shift)

About The Position
Supports Operations by moving materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility with a variety of powered industrial equipment.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Forklift Certification required
- Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel
- Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions
- Standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day
- Functional vision and hearing required
- Lifting up to 70 lbs
Nice To Haves
- Material handling experience is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus
Responsibilities
- Operates a variety of powered, industrial equipment
- Loads and unloads trucks
- Ability to use a hand scanner
- Picks-up incoming materials from the Receiving dock
- Unloads and puts away stock in the Bulk storage area
- Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner
- Pulls and stocks correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations
- Transfers finished products to designated areas
- Stacks empty skids and pallets in designated areas
- Operates a manual and/or motorized pallet jack
- Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manager
- Employees are expected and encouraged to participate in safety and health program activities including immediately reporting hazards, immediately reporting unsafe work practices and incidents to supervisors, wearing required personal protective equipment, and participating in and supporting safety committee activities.
