About The Position

Hydro Extrusions is a global aluminium extrusion business with approximately 100 production sites in 40 countries and 20,000 employees. The Material Handler supports press operations and performs material-handling tasks, including retrieving wheeled racks and setting the oven to the correct temperature and time. Safety is the top priority and a condition of employment; the role requires following and enforcing plantwide safety procedures, environmental regulations, and safety guidelines. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

No high school diploma or GED is required.
Must meet all minimum physical requirements.
Must be a certified forklift operator.
Must communicate effectively in written and verbal form with subordinates, co-workers, supervisors, and managers.
Must understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Must be able to work with other team members and departments.

High involvement in floor activities.

Responsibilities

Follow and enforce plantwide safety procedures, environmental regulations, and safety guidelines.
Ensure that the press continues to run.
Retrieve racks on wheels.
Set the oven to the correct temperature and time.
Perform other duties as assigned.
