About The Position

Eads Cooling Solutions is seeking a Material Handler to perform a variety of material handling functions. The role includes operating forklifts, cranes, scissor lifts, and other material handling devices, while prioritizing safety, efficiency, and customer service. The position is located at 790 Fort Gibson Rd, Catoosa, OK 74015, and is identified as a second-shift role.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Six months to one year of experience as a material handler in a manufacturing environment.
Certifications for forklifts, cranes, and other lifting devices.
Detail oriented and self-motivated.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial orientation.
Ability to use reason to solve problems.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Takes pride in work product and ensures quality work is completed daily.
Ability to frequently reach, lift, sit, stand, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull, squat, bend, and balance.

Responsibilities

Operate various sizes and types of forklifts.
Operate a bridge crane and jib crane.
Communicate clearly and interact professionally with truck drivers and other delivery personnel.
Inspect equipment daily and complete appropriate documentation.
Rig loads appropriately for lifting and inspect rigging.
Determine the appropriate process for moving raw materials or finished products in each situation.
Follow JSAs and work instructions, and use identified personal protective equipment.
Work safely, look out for team safety, and keep the workspace clean and free of hazards.
Identify defective items and handle them accordingly.
Complete quality work and other related duties as assigned or directed by a supervisor.
