About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum 7–10 years of heavy equipment work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Management, or a related technical field.
• Strong technical experience, including hydraulics, electrical, and metal welding.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and delivering results.
• Previous experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders, facilitate discussions, negotiate solutions, and communicate technical information.
• Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions.
• Ability to make sound, timely decisions using available data and take ownership of project outcomes.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability, accuracy, and follow-through.
• Demonstrated ability to execute projects from initiation through completion while meeting quality, schedule, and customer-satisfaction goals.
• Ability to build consensus and maintain productive internal and external working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical planning and execution of assigned projects and serve as the primary customer contact for technical matters throughout the project lifecycle.
• Partner with Sales during the pre-award phase to provide technical expertise, validate project requirements, and support accurate, feasible customer solutions.
• Work with customers to define, review, and finalize technical specifications, ensuring requirements are documented, understood, and achievable.
• Coordinate and validate project documentation and inputs to ensure readiness before release to manufacturing, including bills of material, job headers, schedules and milestones, upfit layouts and drawings, VIN and equipment serial-number tracking, pre-build meetings, and procurement and availability of chassis, VTMs, outsourced equipment, and purchased components.
• Act as the primary liaison among Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and customers.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve issues to maintain schedules, quality standards, and customer expectations.
• Provide ongoing technical guidance and support to Production during manufacturing and upfit.
• Ensure project deliverables are accurate, timely, and consistent with customer requirements, contractual commitments, and company standards.
