About The Position

Licensed Practical Nurses provide direct nursing care, comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, administer medications and treatments, collaborate with the healthcare team, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols.
Requirements
- State of Iowa LPN license
Nice To Haves
- Previous LTC experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.
- Comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, including vital signs, and developing individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and monitoring for side effects.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimize resident care, including communicating with physicians and families.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents.
