About The Position
Join SwimRVA as a Seasonal Lifeguard and dive into an exhilarating, onsite role where your passion for life safety truly matters! Work alongside a fantastic team of like-minded individuals who share your commitment to keeping our guests safe while creating unforgettable memories. Enjoy earning $14.25 an hour as you take on the thrilling responsibility of watching over our swimmers, ensuring their safety, and leading fun activities. Plus, the vibrant atmosphere at our Richmond location, 317 North Wilkinson, outdoor location, will keep you energized and engaged every day. You won't just be a lifeguard; you'll be a hero! Come make a difference and have a blast doing it.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Able to work during the months of mid-April through the end of September.
- Able to work outdoors at our SwimRVA North location.
- Comfortable in the sun.
- Zest for summer activities.
Nice To Haves
- Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification.
- Willing to obtain certification through the SwimRVA Safety School.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring the water to ensure patron safety.
- Leading fun activities for guests.
- Maintaining facility cleanliness.
- Assisting with the setup and load out of world-class events.
