Lifeguard - Northside YMCA
About The Position
The Northside Family YMCA is hiring part-time lifeguards to help save lives and ensure the safety of pool patrons. Certified lifeguards and swimmers interested in becoming lifeguards may apply; the YMCA will provide certification training to candidates who meet its basic swim requirements. Morning and afternoon availability is sought. Pay is $15–$17 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Requirements
- Be at least 15 years old.
- Have current CPR, AED, and First Aid credentials.
- Have current American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification, or meet basic swim requirements and be willing to complete YMCA-provided certification training.
- Have morning and afternoon availability.
Nice To Haves
- Oxygen Administration (O2) certification is preferred but not required.

- Ensure the safety of members and program participants at the pool.
