About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of software engineering experience
• At least 2 years of hands-on networking and troubleshooting with tools such as nslookup, ping, tracert
• Proficiency in complex system testing and Agile/SAFe methodologies
• Intermediate knowledge of Windows, Unix/Linux, JIRA, and MS Office Suite (Excel)
• Experience building/maintaining telecommunications and network equipment
• Solid understanding of inflight connectivity systems (Devices, WAPs, ACPU, Network Equipment)
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and collaborate with engineering teams
• Strong communication skills with a customer-driven mindset

Nice To Haves

• CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or CCNA certification
• Experience in aviation/IFEC domain
• Telecom network infrastructure background
• Lab automation experience

Responsibilities

• Lead equipment requirement discussions with Development, Systems Engineering, and Product teams to align lab infrastructure with business goals
• Coordinate planning and implementation of lab hardware, infrastructure, and program requirements
• Troubleshoot hardware, software configuration, application, and network issues in collaboration with engineering teams
• Manage lab operations including inventory, equipment tracking, audits, repairs, and asset maintenance
• Document, track, and resolve issues using JIRA, performing root cause analysis and ensuring timely resolution
• Conduct periodic health checks, resolve equipment issues, and maintain test benches and SOPs
• Oversee RFQs, purchase requisitions, orders, and asset returns
• Deliver training, technical guidance, and support to software testing teams and stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement projects for lab processes, automation, and infrastructure upgrades
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and contribute to service delivery and customer satisfaction
• Participate in Lab Management meetings and collaborate on identifying and resolving product issues
