About The Position

Curexa is seeking a detail-oriented Compounding Pharmacy Technician to prepare customized medications, ensure accuracy in calculations, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves applying knowledge of prescription information, drug identification, generic equivalents, and compounding techniques; training is offered in these areas. The technician will use pharmacy information systems and computer equipment, perform precise mathematical calculations, and communicate effectively while prioritizing work and working independently. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The role is an in-person position in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. Pay is $18.50–$22.25, with the tier based on experience.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent.
Must be willing to achieve Pharmacy Technician Certification through NHA, PTCB, or Curexa’s in-house program.
Must achieve state registration.
Ability to commute reliably to Egg Harbor Township, NJ, or plan to relocate before starting work.
Basic mathematics skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure.
Proficiency in computer operations and keyboarding.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to perform precise mathematical calculations.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of prescription information, drug identification, generic equivalents, and compounding techniques; training is offered.
Current pharmacy technician registration or certification.
Familiarity with pharmacy equipment and systems.
