Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, residents, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorization, screen visitors and deliveries, maintain visitor records, and control entry and exit in accordance with facility procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions requiring attention.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access-control logs in accordance with government facility requirements.
