About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, preference to HR, 7-10 years benefit administration and/or HR experience, or equivalent combination
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
• Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by the DOT Operations Director and Michels Legal Department
• Able to attract, develop and retain talent

Nice To Haves

• PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP Certification
• Strong communication skills. Must present a professional, positive image at all times
• Experience in self-funded insurance administration

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the company adheres to legal standards and in-house policies.
• Assure regulations and laws are implemented within policies, procedures and standards.
• Lead education and training of regulations.
• Provide counsel on regulatory matters.
• Oversee the administration and implementation of the Corporate Compliance program, EEO initiatives, and international immigration, while following established protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Embody the corporate culture in all interactions.
• Demonstrate professionalism and excellence in customer service.
